Fresh off the back of the recent Hernani leg of this collab, the good folks came over to brew a DIPA with us to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our brewery here in San Andreu. Thick, creamy and juicy, this is a pineapple forward DIPA with an underlying dankness to keep things a little dirty. Idaho 7 is the primary hop in here for tropical pineapple and that is augmented by Bru-1 Lupomax and Vic Secret. The latter two also noted for being pineapple forward. A beefy dose of Citra Lupomax is also added to the mix to give a citric edge but also bump up the tropical notes. To contrast all of this sweet, fruity dry hopping we decided to give a dank undercurrent here by using exclusively Columbus on the hot side. A collaboration with Basqueland has been a long time coming but we feel it’s well worth the wait.
