Nuestra siguiente IPA del Barrio es la primera en llevar lúpulos europeos. Hay muchos aromas de lúpulos agradables provenientes de  Alemania pero casi ninguno de ellos encajan en el rol de una IPA hazy. Pero Calista es uno de ellos que si. Es un lúpulo que está lleno de notas amelocotonadas, por lo que combinado con Citra obtenemos notas de gelatina de durazno, guayaba, toronja y un ligero toque herbal que perdura en el fondo. Hemos modificado ligeramente el amargor esta vez para mejorar el pase de boca y hacer de esta una cerveza muy fácil de beber cada día.

Our next IPA del Barrio is the first to feature a European hops. There have been many beautiful aroma hops coming out of the German hops breeding programs but not that many of them are suited to playing big roles in hazy IPAs. But Callista is one that is. It’s a hop that is bursting with peachy goodness so paired with Citra here we get notes of peach ring jellies, guava, grapefruit and a slight herbal touch that lingers in the background. We have tweaked the bitterness up slightly this time around to enhance drinkability to make this an very easy drinking beer for every occasion.
